Education FAQ's

Do I need to make the full payment to hold my spot?

Full payment is required to hold your seat. All courses are taught in small groups or in-person private. Once registered and a payment has been made, our customer service team will be in contact with you.

Financing is available through a 3rd party for Canadian students.


Are the classes refundable?

Class fees and deposits are non-refundable, however students may transfer payment to another date at that location within the same year. 


What if I can’t make it to the schedule dates?

Please notify M.INT Beauty at least 2 weeks in advance to make any changes to your chosen course date, otherwise a rescheduling fee will be applied in order to attend another course. No refunds will be issued if a student does not attend.

M.INT Beauty is authorized to reschedule any training courses if enrolment is low. We will notify students at least 2 weeks before the scheduled date.

When confirmed dates of classes are posted on the website and correspondence has been sent out to the registered student. It is the student's responsibility to confirm dates and to attend the scheduled class. No shows are considered non-refundable and rescheduling of class is void.  

Class attendance is the student’s responsibility. If the student can not attend the scheduled class it is their responsibility to sell their seat.


What if my class has been cancelled or relocated?

M.INT Beauty & Academy reserves the right to cancel a class at its discretion. Students shall be notified and refunded 100% of their amount paid if the class is cancelled. M.INT Beauty & Academy reserves the right to relocate a class if unforeseen circumstances force us to do so. Students will be notified as soon as the new location information is confirmed and established.

In the case beyond nature’s control (ie. natural disasters, global pandemic shutdown) your course date will get rescheduled to a later date. Any and all travel expenses is not the responsibility M.INT Beauty.


Now that I have enrolled and made my payments, what are the next steps?

Details will be emailed to you about one week before class begins.

How long are the courses? 

Each course varies in length and the amount of time allotted for each class is sufficient for the information to be presented. Please ensure you are aware of the class length for each course.


Will I be certified once I have completed the course?

While it is our goal to certify every student who completes the course, it is ultimately up to the discretion of the educator. If the student has not passed the final exam and is showing any difficulty, the educator may ask the student to send photos of their work in for review before receiving their certificate.


Do you offer mentorship after the courses?

Continued mentorship is available to all graduates, if any student is having difficulty, we recommend contacting your educators as soon as possible. We also offer peer support in our graduate chat groups and forums. 


What's included in my course?

You will receive a manual and a course kit which you can refer to the website for contents.


What if I do not pass the course?

For the lash courses, you’ll be able to retake the courses at no extra charge subject to availability.


Do I need prior licensing?

There is no licensing required to attend training, but licensing may be needed depending on your province or state and regulations to open and perform esthetic services.

I want to take your training but I am not in Canada, what do I need to be certified in my area?

Anyone can purchase and take the M.INT courses, but due to the different certification and licensing requirements, the students are required to do their own research to ensure our certification is valid in your province/state/country. We cannot guarantee our certification meets the standard for your area, please follow up with your local Health Authority or Cosmetology Licensing Board before making your purchase outside of Canada.
