We designed this one-day intensive program specifically for professionals who have completed a Level 1 certification or possess equivalent foundational skills. You will refine your technique, boost your confidence, and expand the premium services you offer to your clients.
What You Will Learn
This course moves beyond the basics to focus on precision, structure, and advanced application methods. You will master the following core topics:
- Advanced Nail Preparation: Execute detailed cuticle work and correct common prep mistakes to prevent premature lifting.
- Custom Shaping and Sculpting: Build stunning enhancements from scratch using nail forms. You will learn the exact techniques required for almond, stiletto, coffin, and ballerina shapes.
- Sculpted French Nails: Perfect your pink and white acrylic application to create a flawless, crisp smile line.
- Troubleshooting and Refining: Identify and fix common application issues. You will learn how to build a structurally sound apex and use advanced filing methods for a smooth finish.
- Maintenance and Safe Removal: Perform seamless infills that blend perfectly at the cuticle, and safely remove enhancements without damaging the natural nail plate.
- Business and Client Care: Develop pricing strategies for your new advanced services and learn how to naturally suggest premium add-ons to your clients.
Teaching Methods and Materials
We believe the best way to learn is by doing. This course relies heavily on interactive demonstrations and intensive hands-on practice. You will work with professional-grade acrylic systems, nail forms, and specialized tools provided in the classroom.
Course Kit and Supplies:
Each participant will receive a UG Premium Acrylic Starter Kit along with some additional supplies needed for the day. Please note, you are required to bring your own equipment from the Level 1 program. Your educator will provide you with a list of exactly what to bring prior to the course.
Throughout the day, our experienced instructors will observe your technique and provide continuous, personalized feedback to help you improve immediately.
Assessment and Certification
We evaluate your progress through an ongoing practical assessment. During the final session of the day, you will apply a full set of sculpted nails on a live model or practice hand, incorporating the advanced shapes and techniques you learned. Upon successful completion of this practical evaluation, you will receive your Level 2 Advanced Acrylic Certification to proudly display at your workstation.
